New Years Eve Update

Hello !

i just saw that 3 people voted @ the "nicest plant" vote in the sidebar !!! Thats crazy because i voted myself and this means that 2 peaople who are NOT me have been here ! the more i read this sentence the more stupid it sounds to me. anyways i am in a hurry and my brain doesnt figure the right words out right now .. i guess...

so the plants are groooowing and grooowing and im very optimistic that i will have some habaneros and cayennes in 2010 :) would be nice to chew on a pod grown by myself ! and then sweating and crying 10 minutes :D

PICS !!!!!!!!!!!!

the thumbnails are looking ok but i had a really bad photo hand today and i was shaking all over so the detailled view will be shitty... ( same shit different pics huh? :| )

enough english spelling and grammar fails for today ! and to all of my thousands of followers:

happy new year!!

AND in the next Update there will be a special shooting with the winner plant of the poll!

bye

Chili hold'em

hello!

i made some interesting pictures, i saw these bunch of plants hanging around in my living room:

and there was this new guy called "tabasco".
at first i was confused but then i realised that they were just playing poker and have some soft drinks and hot sauce.

ok just kidding !they have not played poker, or drinking soft drinks .. i've faked it all just because i didn't know what to write. im sorry :P

Sexy O-Hab update!

hey guys,

how are you ? im fine! im not really sure if someone will ever read all this except of t-low, pascoarl and neil. but hey when these 3 guys read this, although i have to beg them to read this, then it is worth the 2 1/2 minutes of time i have to spend :)

anyways enough of this idle talk.... lets have a view at the drama queen of my indoor mid of december chili grow ( yes indeed. its time for a

for this stupid timing of mine! )

so here we go:

so only pics of the o-hab #1 since the other plants are building roots most of the time i think. they do not grow so nice right now but the o-hab #1 was the first seed that germinated for me and has its own pot for a couple of weeks now. so i think the good growing under the light source is because of the strong roots. i dont really have any knowledge about the plants and their photosynthesis but the logical explanation must be that the plant can use the light more effective because of the stronger/bigger roots. i water the same amount to all of them as they are all in the same pot size and the o-hab #1 just sucks it out in one day where the other plants need 2 or 3 days. or perhaps the pots just run dry .... i dont know. but i DO know that i have an plant louse issue but im already handling that !

ok now i have to giggle... had to check "plant louse" in the dictionary and it sounds extreme weird for me... seems that the german word "laus" is just poorly translated .. hahah

k thats all i have to say for now. bye passe, neil and morris.

p.s.: when someone reads this and wants to be mentioned. just let me know write an e-mail or something :D lattey@live.de (i shit bricks if i really receive a mail with a stranger asking to name him lol.)

did i say that www.thehippyseedcompany.com is a badass seed/sauce producer? no? .. www.thehippyseedcompany.com kicks ass visit now !

OH HAI!

hello!

today i took a look into my grow box and this was a moment like somebody looks at you saying "OH HAI SUP'?" ... these 3 little cayenne seedlings finally needed to be splitted. so i prepared 3 pots and seperated them carefully. and this looks liek thiiiiiis

then i placed them all together in the mega super cool growbox :P

until now there are just few problems that pop up sometimes. something like plants fucking up a whole day without a reason and recover from that all alone .... and such things :D

ok i think its working good so far. now they all can grow when they feel like that !

Tornado hits Orange Habanero....

hello,

imagine a tornado hits your lovely plants and the whole crop is fucked up.... bad thing eh...

not in my case, my tornado is giving em the sun they need to grow good :) Philips Tornado ESL 20W 865 Daylight to push the little aussies a bit. this is a standart daylight lamp u probably can get in any hardware store. i took a mid sized carton box, worked out a cover and fixed all the light leakes at the corners. pulled the lamp wire through the carton, fixed that leaks and hung up the lamp at the cover carton.

last thing was to cut a piece out in the height of the lamp for some air circulation. covered this again to catch the light from the inside. and now we're done with the home made vegetation chili grow box. :D

last thing to do is to check if the temperature inside is constant low. with this awesome box im planning to grow the seedlings to a strong base and then put the plants back at my window sill.

meh we'll see if it works :D

so here pic's and maybe you can see that orange hab #1 is doing pretty well already next leaves coming yay !

Awesome Pic Update !!!

hey folks,

today i throw in a few new pics ! you can see the orange hab #1 which is already in an bigger pot. the orange hab #2 having it still comfortable in a jiffy pod and the cayenne seedlings sharing their jiffy.

its like the growing stopped abrupt. maybe it's to wet for them or it's too dark or they just have no joy at growing the last days. i don't know exactly but they look healthy so i dont really care. we have a phrase for this situations in germany .. i dont know exactly how to translate but i would say :

Good things come to those who wait!

here are the pics, enjoy :

had a awesome idea right now !

doesnt have much to do with my chili plants but with a hot sauce. i ordered a "very hot" pizza several times @ my local pizza dealer. but it wasnt really hot and every time i was dissapointed. and right now i had the best idea EVAR ! i'll go to my pizza dealer ( hi matteo :o ) take my nearly empty bottle of nagasav ( outstanding bbq-sauce with nagas and red savina !! www.thehippyseedcompany.com ) with me and introduce them how to make a super hot pizza.

this is going to be so damn good/hot !

Nothing really happened

ok i would say that chili plants are a little bit lazy when it rains. they grow but nothing really happened to them. will update again when its not too dark to make some good pics!

Hi World!

This is my Blog about my Chili Plants im starting to grow. Bought some Seeds @ www.thehippyseedcompany.com and started with informations i get from the internet and neil from hippyseedcompany.

yeah so i started with some orange habanero seeds few weeks ago, then 2 weeks ago i also gave some yellow habanero and red cayenne seeds a shot. Now my grow box looks like some plants were born :D

i did 4 seeds of each into jiffy pots and watered them constantly while they had it warm @ my window sill. the first seeds that sprouted were the orange habaneros, 2 from 4 seeds so easy 50% :D
then the red cayenne was going wild! in 2 days every seed sprouted and it looks like a race between the little plants to get out of the jiffy ;)

but what should i say about plants with only 2 leaves :D here some pics:

pics are from today, just a crappy phone cam :( im sorry for that

now im very excited how this will work because of the shit weather. but i always look at the bright side and ... we'll see :D
